Here's the plain bulletin board. Standard issue... boring. It was really old, and really heavy. But other than that, just the typical bulletin board.
I bought some 1" foam (actually made for seat cushions) from Wal-Mart. I used 1 1/2 of them (there were four in the bag). I laid them out and stapled the edges, just to help hold them in place.
I chose pink fabric (which turned out to match the rug perfectly!) and stapled it around the edges. The stapler wouldn't go all the way into the heavy wood, so I hammered it down. I didn't worry about it looking nice, as it was all on the back.
Then I used two colors of 1" wide ribbon in bright pink and green. I criss-crossed them and repeated the pattern.
And ta-da! There you have it. Yes, I could have been picky and made them cross in a pattern (you'll notice that some overlap some colors, but not all...). But I just randomly did it and wasn't thinking that much into it. I don't mind it. Once things are tucked inside, I don't see it being an issue visually. But if you want to do it your way, then do it! That's what's great about this project - there's so many options!

How cute, and in one of my favorite color combinations, pink & green.
My daughter would love this. I am going to show her this. Lovely
Hi Megan,
This is my first visit to your site! I have been thinking about turning a big old framed picture I have into a bulletin board, so your instructions will help.
I love your cat Rocky, he looks exactly like my cat Stormy, who already went to his reward. He was a great cat and I miss him. Have a wonderful day...Cathy

Great job, you just inspired me to make a memo board!!Thanks
Looks fabulous!
Some may feel squeamish about eating it, but rabbit has a fan base that grows as cooks discover how easy they are to raise — and how good the meat tastes.
